The Senior Engineer at AEO is responsible for infrastructure engineering, implementation, deployment and support of our enterprise application technology services.


  • Engineer and design functions for our infrastructure services and applications including, but not limited to Windows operating systems and roles, automation, deployment and security compliance
  • Document and maintain technology standards, configurations, service catalogs, multi-year roadmaps
  • Subject Matter Expert of assigned IT services, demonstrating expertise in all aspects of related technology, including licensing
  • Support services in Windows Server administration, Active Directory and Domain Services, File & Print, RDP and automation.
  • Maintain awareness of trends and issues, and evaluate new opportunities in all related technologies
  • Proactively identify and grow our processes, services and technologies to scale to meet the global demand of the business
  • Deliver world-class technology support to our internal IT teams as well as all areas of the business
  • Continually identify, document and routinely audit all systems and service components using standard monitoring toolsets
  • Drive for continual development and maintenance of performance reporting, as well as technical and process documentation improvements
  • Actively participate in developing and maintaining our disaster recovery plans and solutions 
  • Collaborate with peers and business liaisons to ensure technology solutions achieve our desired business results
  • Communicate technical topics at engineering, management and business levels
  • Mentor and develop junior resources to improve technical capabilities and assume greater responsibilities
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent technical qualifications
  • 7+ years experience managing and growing large infrastructures using related technologies
  • Must have experience with Microsoft operating systems and Roles, Active Directory and Domain Services  and PowerShell
  • Ideal experience  includes Enterprise Endpoint Management software; Exchange E-Mail; PKI Infrastructure; Identity Automation, Management and Federation
  • Working understanding and implementation of IT best practices, policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to assess risk of technical changes 
  • Strong ability to proactively identify and evaluate incidents and problems, determining root cause
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook, Visio & Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
