Job Title:  Senior Manager - Inventory Control/Quality Assurance
Location:  Remote/50% Travel

Position Summary:  
Quiet Logistics, a wholly owned subsidiary of AEO, Inc. is looking for a seasoned Inventory Control/Quality Assurance leader to support its rapid growth in the third party fulfillment (3PF) space.  This individual will be tasked with establishing best in class IC/QA standards, process and compliance reporting in addition to constructing and managing an IC/QA team to drive performance across the network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide overall IC/QA network guidance on industry best practices, metrics, reporting and audits
  • Promote a positive environment based on learning, development, ownership, and accountability
  • Perform root cause identification and resolution for continuous IC/QA improvement
  • Provide leadership for all inventory activities, including physical counts, adjustments, standard setting, variance reporting and analysis
  • Serve as inventory liaison between vendors, customers, and internal departments 
  • Establish/communicate weekly IC/QA network performance reporting to stakeholders along with detailed cause and resolution action plan for inventory variance outliers
  • Provide guidance on IC/QA org structure and support hiring/training/development of IC/QA team members
  • Provide leadership for resolving inventory related issues with customers.
  • 30-40% Travel supporting network Fulfillment Centers


  • IC/QA leadership experience in a FC, DC or high volume 3PL warehouse
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory & quality control principles, processes, metrics, tools, and problem-solving techniques required to design scalable and auditable programs across a fulfillment network 
  • Advanced knowledge of warehouse and transportation management systems 
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills
  • Strong process documentation, procedure, and quality background
  • Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Thorough understanding of inventory integrity, its financial/operational tie across business and operational processes along w/ the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements for supply chain inventory
  • Bilingual-preferred


  • Bachelor’s degree-required w/ Supply chain Ops, Business, Engineering, Assets Protection or related discipline-preferred
  • Graduate degree in a related field-preferred
  • 10 years supply chain experience-required w/ focus in retail distribution or e-commerce fulfillment 
  • 7-10 years of management experience w/ 5+ managing Exempt leaders and IC/QA oversight
  • Regional leadership experience supporting 5+ sites
  • Proven track record for leading change management across large work groups
  • Operational startup/expansion leadership experience-preferred

•        The anticipated pay range for this position is $80,000 up to $95,000.  Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
