This role is responsible for providing strategic guidance on the execution and management of AEO’s Technology Operating Model & Strategic Plan in order to build a unified, integrated, and modern technology organization. In partnership with the extended technology leadership and management team, the Program Manager is responsible for shaping and coordinating the execution of process improvement projects and initiatives that are on the roadmap, overseeing the governance of the program, and driving communication and adoption of change across the Technology organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize, coordinate, and provide strategic guidance for the program
  • Support Technology leadership team as needed to achieve program objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Oversee planning, resourcing, and execution of all roadmap projects and initiatives
  • Provide consistent support, tools, and methods to project leaders/managers in the execution of their projects
  • Partner with Technology Leadership and Project Leads to establish timelines and assign resources
  • Drive the overall governance of the program
  • Plan and support monthly Steering Committee meetings
  • Measure and report on program performance and quality against pre-established OKRs
  • Assess and manage issues and risk to delivery
  • Implement and manage change to meet deliverables
  • Facilitate lessons learned and project evaluations to inform future strategies and initiatives
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with technology leaders, including leading and recapping status meetings, maintaining relevant documentation, and communicating any issues
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10+ years related experience in complex project and program management, with demonstrated expertise in large-scale organizational change, process reengineering, digital/technology enablement or similar transformational initiatives
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team; ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Experience working with remote teams across geographies and time zones (AEO Technology team members work in Eastern, Central, and Pacific time zones)
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, project and portfolio management applications, and web-based tools
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong prioritizing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Value Stream Mapping and OKRs preferred
