  • Maintain maintenance inventory in a clean and safe condition
  • Ensure that adequate part levels are maintained at all times
  • Train new associates in MVP procedures
  • Schedule and enter preventative maintenance tasks into the MVP system. Maintain department PO system and track inventory, work orders, and supplies usage. Generate reports from the MVP software.
  • Research, negotiate with, and establish new vendors following AE procedures, maintaining quality while reducing overall maintenance cost.
  • Solve intermittent issues between vendors, e.g. lost shipments, unpaid invoices, and wrong parts.
  • Establish and maintain schedules for maintenance department tasks, e.g. janitorial supplies, production supplies and maintenance consumables.
  • Responsible for purchasing card spend per month and monthly reconciliation.
  • Perform both maintenance parts and production / janitorial supplies cycle counts – weekly / monthly.
  • Responsible for cleanliness and organization of parts area(s) and other supply areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • High School education or equivalent
  • Previous MVP or other CMMS experience preferred.  Training for use of these items will be required once in the position.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office, Outlook. Internet applications and research abilities a must.
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Data entry, computer keyboard and adding machine experience a must.
  • Must be able to attend webinars and have the ability to travel for training
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Ability to lift cartons or part bins that weigh up to 35 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity is required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline environment
  • Must be able to fill out paperwork and forms neatly and accurately
  • Flexible to work overtime on request – cycle counting
