This role will report to the Director of Finance Operations and will support the organization’s strategic focus on optimizing our Ariba Buying and Invoicing solution for non-merchandise spend. This role will support the Procurement Operations team as they work to achieve goals for Supplier Enablement on the Ariba Network (to enable seamless, electronic ordering and invoicing with AEO’s supplier partners), organizational best practices for procurement and payables, and a strategic and functional optimization of the existing Ariba Contracts module for AEO’s non-merchandise spend.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with both AEO and supplier customers providing  Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidance and education
  • Drives Supplier Enablement and Ariba Netwok value realization internally; promotes Supplier Enablement best practice adoption
  • Coordinates enablement project plan, timelines, and communication flows
  • Reviews weekly reporting and delivers analysis of enablement status to internal stakeholders with firm action plans to address challenges and escalated suppliers
  • Joins weekly meetings and alignment calls to ensure enablement work streams are on track
  • Collects and reviews vendor master data and prepares vendor files for handover to Ariba enablement team
  • Assists in cross-functional work streams such as catalog enablement, contract enablement, and supplier integrations
  • Supports strategic sourcing Category Managers through the supplier and content enablement process to achieve the best results for the business
  • Manages shared inbox and respond to Supplier Enablement requests/questions in timely manner
  • Develop and document SOPs as AEO’s Supplier Enablement program matures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field
  • 2 to 3 years Ariba Network Experience (Partner or customer)
  • 1-2 years Procure to Pay experience focused on with purchasing best practices and functional knowledge of ERP systems
  • Intermediate understanding of Ariba Contracts Module, specifically contract authoring and preparation for downstream activity
  • Demonstrate collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Consultative/Customer Service oriented
  • Good public speaking skills, training and development experience desirable
  • Strong attention to detail
