POSITION SUMMARY:


Perform clerical support in relation to internal customer service and the flow of merchandise in the Distribution Center which includes approximately 50-85% of time spent at work stations with the remainder of time spent monitoring or performing production activities. An Operations Clerk is required to assist Material Handlers and/or Merchandise Processors and must be able to perform the physical requirements of the Merchandise Processor position as well as the physical requirements listed below.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


• Maintain accurate and timely records.  Track and maintain database with Audit results.
• Perform Outbound Packing and Inbound Vendor Case Audits, including identifying errors, recording any adjustments
• Coordinate paperwork to match merchandise processing functions
• Enter data and retrieve information using the appropriate systems such as: IP, PKMS, Cognos reports, COFE, PkDirector, Tradestone programs.
• Communicate daily with related departments, vendors and Home Office personnel both over the phone and through email
• Identify and resolve system or paperwork discrepancies; trouble shoot and research errors found; confirm the extent of errors and the appropriate adjustment needed
• Obtain information from system generated reports utilizing the AS/400 programs
• Must be adaptable and able to work in all departments performing various functions of the Operations Clerk position
• Must meet monthly production and quality standards
• Reliable and consistent attendance

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Complete paperwork and forms neatly and accurately
• Assist in physical and cycle count inventories
• Perform other duties as assigned 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:


• High school education or equivalent plus three months Distribution Center experience or equivalent experience
• Ability to perform basic math skills accurately including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments and meet established deadlines
• High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong data entry, computer keyboard, and/or adding machine experience
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, & planning skills; including verbal/written communication, and strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
