Title: Manager – Marketing Analytics

 

Purpose:

The Manager of Marketing Analytics is responsible for developing and socializing the insights of all paid and owned marketing channels. They will partner with marketing channel leads to optimize budget and tactics by utilizing best-in-class modeling and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have specific experience in marketing analytics and measurement. Currently there are 2 open roles, one for the Aerie brand and one for the American Eagle brand. Qualified candidates will be considered for both brands.

 

Responsibilities:

Analytics

  • Responsible for analytics to inform balanced decisions on marketing tactics that drive brand equity, customer growth and profit for the brand.
  • Analyzes marketing-driven traffic (stores & digital), sales and conversion to optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Assist with customer marketing campaign analysis including email, SMS, and direct mail
  • Provides insights into influencer program impact – both direct (URL tracking) and indirect (SEO traffic, sales increase)

Reporting

Budgeting & Optimization

  • Leverage MTA and channel reporting to drive daily, weekly, seasonal spend cadence for Digital Marketing; communicate changes across marketing and finance teams.
  • Partner with digital media and social media agencies to analyze and optimize all campaign placements, creative, and advertising spend.
  • Leverage Marketing Mix Modeling outputs to provide quarterly budget and channel recommendations to marketing leadership
  • Play a leading role in the management of strategy projects inclusive of marketing KPI planning, marketing promotions, and market segment mapping and prioritization.

Thought Leadership

  • Stay up-to-date and guide advancements in marketing measurement capabilities.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytics or data science role
    • 3+ years generating marketing insights for large, B2C organizations with robust digital marketing programs and budgets
  • High degree of proficiency with data tracking, management, analysis, and visualization software including but limited to: Google Analytics, Google Cloud Platform, Tableau, Excel
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
