POSITION: Manager, International Store Operations
REPORTS TO: Sr. Director, Store Experience

SUMMARY: This role is responsible for the integration of the goals, plans, and initiatives of AEO’s Global Store Operations, with AEO International teams globally. This person will be the key partner with international field and store operations associates based in EMEA, LATAM, and APAC, in support of company owned and licensed retail stores.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop strong working relationships within the entire Global Store Operations team, to ensure that strategies are aligned and executed to benefit international store operations
• Champion the needs and unique requirements of the international business; be the “voice of international” within the Global Store Operations ecosystem
• Thoroughly understand Global Store Operations’ goals and objectives, and ensure that relevant components are assimilated across the international regions
• Maintain an acute awareness of needs from all geographies and retail channels, and partner with the appropriate stakeholders to implement solutions
• Ensure that all major work-streams are collaborating with International field operatives, to maximize sales and productivity. Work-streams include training, store communications, associate engagement, workforce management, process improvement, customer experience, and store technology
• Participates in international cross-functional team meetings and events, to ensure Store Operations point-of-view is properly represented
• Travels to international locations as required (less than 10% travel anticipated); works effectively in a global matrix organization across multiple time zones

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 10 years of related experience, in multi-store/specialty retail brands; international experience, or experience with international store operations is a plus
• Demonstrated attention to detail and end-to-end ownership of projects from initial ideation to final execution
• Ability to manage multiple projects with potentially different stakeholders
• Extremely strong verbal/written communication and persuasion skills; ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and independent. Able to prioritize and re-prioritize projects and workload in response to business needs
• Foreign language skills are not required, but are helpful (Spanish, Mandarin)
