POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing the preseason webset/email/event plan, co-managing the PDP/lifestyle shoot inclusive and maintenance of brand trigger calendar as it pertains to direct. Be the communication funnel for the omni merchant team to appropriate partners in creative, social, digital marketing, studio and site merchandising.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Pre Season/Inseason Webset/Email Plan:

PRESEASON: 

  • Ensure all digital needs are captured through the photoshoot process by partnering with DMMs & Omni Merchants to establish the seasonal email plan and webset needs.
  • Align all cross functional teams with trend direction for each season from an online point of view
  • Partner to identify new Shops to push online strategies and seasonal ideas
  • Partner with digital team, site merchandising and ae counterparts on all preseason planning – weekly email plan, AE email send, cobranded touchpoints (i.e Green, National Undie Day).
  • Partner with Director to strategize direct only events to stay competitive and hurdle LY.
  • Work with Omni merchants to narrow down image selections which best highlight the products and get all parties aligned to ensure images are approved prior to deadlines 
  • Reference Omni Leaseline document during creative process to ensure appropriate category placement supports promotional activity.


INSEASON:

  • Be the liaison between Omni Merch and Digital to troubleshoot wins and opportunities in the business pertaining to the webset and email.
  • Ensure accuracy of all customer facing digital touchpoints – product, price, promotion
  • Filter all social requests from Omni Merch
  • Manage photo shoots and establish the key trends & looks, seasonal vignettes/capsules and key editorial/fashion pieces:
  • Align all feedback from omni merchants on key products and big ideas
  • Manage Shoot plan for lifestyle and Pittsburgh studio shoots
  • Maintenance of Brand Trigger Calendar:
  • Partner with digital team and site merchandising on all catalogue push dates to maximize flexibility in business.
  • Problem-solve timing issues that exist by operating a co-branded site. 
  • Assist in the execution of any in-season changes, collect information based on current business needs, recommend solutions and effectively communicate to cross functional teams.  
  • Point of contact for special project requests; blogger gifts, editor’s gifts, Fashion Shows, and any miscellaneous requests from cross-functional partners. 
  • Archive previous season info in order to build history and maintain archives. 
  • Partner with Business Strategy peers to uphold process efficiency and execute streamlined communication regardless of channel for Merchants and all cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with Business Strategy peers to compile, update and publish key deliverables for merchant team weekly.
  • Gain proper approval for use of all equity and review equity before being published on the website
  • Attend all brands seasonal Floorset and note big ideas
  • Attend necessary Lifestyle photo shoots (locations vary) and select milestone meetings in NY (Coordination)
  • Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalent required

Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) preferred

6+ years prior buying experience from a specialty or department store

2+ years experience in a leadership role

Aggressive and passionate individual will be most successful in this and future roles

Keen sense of fashion exhibited through personal taste

Understanding of fashion designer labels and how to interpret their seasonal stories/messages for the AE customer

Excellent analytical and creative skills to challenge the planning and design sides of the organization

Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy (coolness and composure under strain, confidence without arrogance)

Risk Taker - Carefully considers risk/reward, ready to try new ways of doing things to improve learning

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Travel is required, including the potential for international travel

High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications

Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team

Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management

Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
