As our Developer - Planning & Allocation, you will support the delivery and integration of applications within the Merchandise Planning and Allocation business functions. This includes ETL work between existing and new systems as well as the development of internal applications to support business processes, reporting needs, and advanced analytics. You will use your skills to apply technology solutions to business problems through analysis, design, programming, testing, documenting and maintaining complex programs and systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Development of interfaces and data transformation between enterprise systems and software packages 
  • UI design and development for internal applications 
  • Supporting application implementation through the creation of test data, analysis of test results, debugging programs, and writing and executing test scripts
  • Documentation of all phases of work including data flow and input-output diagrams, program block diagrams, screen and report layouts and other program technical specifications using current specified design standards for new or revised application systems
  • Ensure that application software packages are installed and function according to published software specifications, operate efficiently and are error free
  • Providing "on call" and off hours support for production systems when assigned and ensuring timely follow up with solutions


  • Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Business or Math, Engineering, or a related field) or equivalent experience required 
  • 3+ years of business programming and analysis experience including working as a business partner to non-technical users 
  • Knowledge of object oriented development, programming languages (PL/SQL, .NET, C#, Shell Scripting), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and databases (Oracle or ANSI-SQL). 
  • Experience with Teradata, Visual Studio, and vendor applications preferred 
  • Experience in ETL, SDLC, interpreting and authoring functional /technical specifications
  •  Use of collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio, Git, TFS 
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project ownership (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ambitious with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting in a dynamic environment
