The Corporate Communications Intern provides support to the Corporate Communications team by assisting with the creation of content and support of events for internal and external stakeholders


•Write, proofread, and provide input for a variety of communication formats, including but not limited to intranet content, email communications, and digital signage

•Provide integral event support in planning internal business meetings and events

•Assist with media briefings, proofreading, and editing of external communications and releases

•Maintain the internal communications calendar and message archive

•Edit photos and videos for intranet content and digital signage

•Create layouts and designs for intranet content, printed and digital signage

•Source internal storytelling opportunities and lead the work to completion

•Support ongoing updates to intranet and external corporate website

•Provide overall administrative support in helping the department operate as efficiently and effectively as possible


•Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master's Degree program in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field

•Must be able to commit 15-20 hours per week during the spring semester and approximately 40 hours per week beginning June 3.

•Prior internship experience in corporate environment and event planning a plus

•Interest in a career in Corporate Communications

•Ability to write accurate, compelling and impactful copy to communicate with clarity and effectiveness for a variety of communication formats

•Ability to learn from feedback and adjust writing style as necessary

•Superior attention to detail and highly organized

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Adept at problem-solving and thinking quickly in a fast-paced environment

•Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders

•Dynamic, self-starter who can lead a project from start to finish

•Graphic design capabilities with working knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite

•Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
