POSITION TITLE: Coordinator, Store Experience - Store Operations

REPORTS TO: Lead, Store Experience - Store Operations                  


POSITION SUMMARY:

Create and manage core training for AE & Aerie associates including the Bra training program, Jean training program, associate on-boarding and evergreen selling strategies.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and elevate training for AE jeans focused on driving the category, elevating top performers and increasing associate knowledge and selling skills around jeans
  • Create and elevate training for Aerie bras focused on driving the category, elevating top performers and increasing associate knowledge and selling skills around bras
  • Implement strategic roadmap for ongoing Selling Model core training
  • Concept and write scripts for video based training related to Selling Model, Jeans Domination & BFF programs
  • Collaborate with Field Leadership team and corporate business partners to ensure current training programs are relevant and incorporates best practices to drive consistent execution and business
  • Analyze and evaluate training needs to formulate learning systems and performance improvement solutions for core training
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the current core training programs by creating and implementing measures to track outcomes and to ensure alignment with company objectives
  • Plan and manage projects using internal and/or vendor resources including accountability for budget, product and resources
  • Manage translation implementation into the Learning Management System platform
  • Manage JIRA heat tickets for Store Experience platforms
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Learning & Development, or related field
  • Three + years retail management and/or retail corporate experience
  • Prior retail management experience preferred
  • Travel is required, including the potential for international travel
  • Experience using or creating with a Learning Management System
  • High degree of proficiency Adobe InDesign, Power Point, MS Office Suite, Outlook, & Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Understand and comfortable working with multiple learning styles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
