POSITION SUMMARY:

Act as a social media champion, both internally & externally, through responsibility of the day-to-day management of Aerie’s social media including scheduling, publishing and community engagement as well as assist with content ideation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Community Management

  • Schedule and publish content across Aerie’s social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook
  • Manage and moderate the conversation across social media platforms, ensuring our community members feel seen and heard
  • Partner with Corporate Customer Relations Team to ensure customer service concerns are resolved in a timely manner
  • Oversee coverage during weekends and evenings, ensure continuity all year, with an emphasis on key holidays

Reporting and Social Listening

  • Listen and monitor brand mentions and sentiment across public and owned communities and conversations
  • Analyze seasonal performance and identify new opportunities to improve engagement across social media channels
  • Provide bi-weekly reporting on community health

Content

  • Participate in seasonal and ad hoc content brainstorms to keep Aerie at the forefront of innovation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communication, or related field
  • 2+ years of social media experience, and passion for social media with an active online presence
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) a plus.
  • Experience with social engagement, monitoring, listening and measuring tools (ie. Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, Spredfast, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with prior community management experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, & planning skills
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
