POSITION SUMMARY:

The position will follow through on all aspects of prop & marketing print production elements from concept to execution against budget and timelines.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source and manage seasonal, flagship, specialty and international props from concept to in-store delivery
    • Procure samples, prototypes and top of production samples
    • Diligent review of spec standards and quality control proactively providing feedback and notes for next steps, managing to a tight timeline of turnarounds
    • Manage new store openings and inventory levels for replenishment
    • Partner with Visual team to ensure everything needed for seasonal creative reviews and floorset guides
  • Manage print production items as determined by the needs of the business that could include: signage, direct mail, billboards, coupons, gift cards, bag stuffers, money cards, credit cards and more.    
    • Proactively create sign lists, kick off projects to creative teams and anticipate needs
    • Review and route creative capturing all feedback from cross-functional teams
    • Communicate all feedback to design and copy teams
    • Provide final review of creative projects to ensure accuracy
    • Deliver final creative, project documents and image proofs to vendors
    • Press Check projects when necessary - some overnight travel required
    • Quality check of final production samples and distribution to cross-functional partners 
  • Day to day contact with cross-functional partners for creative requests, reviews and approvals
  • Day to day contact with vendors to communicate new projects and follow up on production status
  • Negotiate costs and record all spending in appropriate trackers for both print and prop spend

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of retail visual, marketing or print related experience preferred
  • Experience sourcing, negotiating and managing projects
  • Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority, anticipate issues and provide creative solutions
  • Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem solving & planning skills
  • Results driven, self-motivated, goal-oriented
  • Excellent attention to detail, superior communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with cross functional teams
  • Effective in a variety of formal presentation settings (one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers and leadership)
