POSITION TITLE:               Associate Manager, Store Training

REPORTS TO:                      Manager, Store Experience   


POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Create and manage all aspects of field Leadership training to include LMS based Leadership Onboarding, Leadership Ongoing & seasonal Leadership training content. Works with a team to create and manage associate incentives and recognition programs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain training curriculum for Leadership Onboarding programs
  • Create and implement strategic roadmap for ongoing Leadership training
  • Create LMS based content to support ongoing Leadership development
  • Collaborate with Field Leadership team and corporate business partners to ensure current training programs are relevant and incorporates best practices to drive consistent execution and business
  • Analyze and evaluate training needs to formulate learning systems and performance improvement solutions
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the current training programs by creating and implementing measures to track outcomes and to ensure alignment with company objectives
  • Plan and manage recognition and incentive programs for all AEO store associates using internal and/or vendor resources including accountability for budget, resources and results
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

AUTHORITY:

  • Negotiate contracts with 3rd parties for Training Programs and Materials
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Learning & Development, or related field
  • Six+ years retail management and/or retail corporate experience
  • Prior Store Manager experience preferred
  • Travel is required, including the potential for international travel
  • Learning Management System content creation experience preferred
  • High degree of proficiency in Google applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
