Position Summary:

The Procurement Operations Analyst must understand the basics of contract management and compliance, supplier enablement, RFX activities, and procure-to-pay processes. This role will be responsible for optimizing AEO’s Ariba Contracts and Spend Visibility modules by implementing process improvements, developing/executing SOPs, and serving as an internal SME. In addition, the Procurement Operations Analyst will develop metric-driven dashboards for leadership and manage cross-functional projects as assigned.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Ariba contract repository intake and build process
  • Support downstream/transactional contract enablement for supplier invoicing
  • Develop monthly contract reports to summarize expiring contracts and agreements for business users
  • Oversee contract compliance by department, creating monthly/quarterly reports for executive leadership
  • Develop monthly spend reports by category and vendor for finance partners
  • Develop ad hoc reporting for key users/groups within the broader organization
  • Digitize the AEO contract process (signature authority, authoring, amendments, etc.
  • Participate in custom categorization and data enrichment exercises with Ariba Shared Services
  • Identify process opportunities within the Ariba Sourcing module (three bids and a buy, Ariba Discovery, digital sourcing events, etc.)
  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance to the defined contract processes when engaging with the various end users (requestors, suppliers, procurement)
  • Receive, analyze, and triage vendor and internal inquiries related to transactional contracts
  • Support procure-to-pay activities, by demonstrating mastery of internal processes
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
  • This position will be located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Procurement, Shared Services or Finance
  • Working knowledge of Ariba P2P and Contract Management or comparable system required
  • Experience using Ariba Spend Analysis and Sourcing or comparable system is preferred
    High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook & Internet applications
  • Experience with designing and leading end user training in corporate environments is desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence peers, customers and senior management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
