POSITION SUMMARY:
Act as a social media champion and communicator, both internally & externally, for the Aerie’s brand social media channels, ambassadors and social community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Community Management
•Work closely with the Social Media team to help to align and execute seasonal summer and back-to-school strategy.
•Brainstorm new projects and ideas for Aerie social brand channels.
•Assist in the hand-off and development of social media assets, gather samples, source and send product, and request images.
•Assist in social media project management including shipping and gifting product, and developing relationships with Business Strategies and Merchandising.
•Help team to publish daily to Instagram, Instagram Stories, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube
•Assist in managing and moderating the customer relationship, community, and conversation on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Aerie blog.
•Engage (comment and like) with influencer, ambassador and community posts across Instagram and Twitter
•Assist in responding to customer inquiries across Instagram, Instagram Stories, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube. Resolve questions, concerns and escalate issues which need attention across internal departments. 
•Write, brainstorm ideas and help to create copy for the Aerie blog.
•Ensure proper tagging and tracking of all links with Omniture and other analytics tools

Reporting and Social Listening
•Work closely with Manger to listen and monitor brand mentions and sentiment across public and owned communities and conversations
•Research and monitor competitor’s presence in the social space

QUALIFICATIONS:
•A college junior working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Social or Digital Media, English, Public Relations, Communication, or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
•1+ years of Social Media experience, and passion for social media with an active online presence
•High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications, experience with social monitoring, listening and measuring tools a plus (Sprinklr, Spredfast, Hootsuite, etc.)
•Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, & planning skills
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
•Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
•Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
•Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
